Known and revered by his peers in the transport industry, Late Shri Ratanlal K. Gupta was a visionary who always followed his dreams & passion.

Resolved to elevate the Indian transport industry, Ratanlal Ji quit a reputed position in a leading transport company to start All India Roadways Pvt. Ltd.

His vision of transporting raw materials & finished laminate sheets with ‘Zero Damage Assurance’ added more credibility to his already illustrious legacy.

Decades later, he passed the torch to the much younger generation & they took the group to new levels. But, nothing would have been possible if Ratanlalji hadn't dared to dream.

Started PAN India Logistics business by the name of – All India Roadways Pvt Ltd, which within a short span of time earned itself a speciality of Zero Damage Transit for Laminates and its raw materials.

1992

Started trading of Kraft Paper and other related products under the umbrella of “Fakirsons Papchem Pvt Ltd

1997

Fakirsons acquired dealership of GSFC for Melamine, which is India’s sole manufacturer of Melamine

2001

Started manufacturing of formaldehyde under Balaji Formalin Pvt Ltd’ with a humble capacity of 60 TPD at Gandhinagar, Gujarat

2008

Fakirsons acquired PAN India sole-distributorship of Huawon group for Uncoated Base Paper which today is a world renowned and market leader in Décor Base Paper industry

2010

Balaji Formalin expanded their production capacity to 180 TPD with 100% European Technology for the first time in India.

2013

Balaji Formalin expanded their production capacity 250 TPD

2017

Balaji Formalin commenced their greenfield project with an investment of Rs 1.5 billion of “Formaldehyde and Paraformaldehyde” in the state of Maharashtra with a capacity of 400 TPD Formaldehyde and 60TPD of Prills grade Paraformaldehyde in collaboration with one of the best technology suppliers in the world.

2018

Fakirsons acquired dealership of Chemisol Italia Srl, for Additives for Paper Impregnation and Board manufacturing. Also in the same year, Fakirsons tied up with Sinodecor, one the best quality decorative paper manufacturers in China with an access to more than 1200 different designs.

2020

Fakirsons set up largest in the industry warehousing capacity for Industrial Grade specialty papers and dry chemicals in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, sprawling across 26000 sq. meters. The warehouse was conceptualised and designed with a Unique Trench Mechanism allowing for storage of more than 20,000 tons of Dry Goods and with 11 High Speed Cranes from Konecranes Germany, providing a handling capacity of up to 400 tons per day

    In 2001, we discovered yet another pair of shoes to fill, yet another field to conquer. We started Balaji Formalin, India’s first state-of-the-art ‘Formaldehyde’ manufacturing facility, intending to match the surplus demands of essential chemicals by the Laminate industry.

    With each passing year, our production capacity and industrial influence rose & currently we have a cumulative production capacity of 3.5L MTPA. With Balaji, our flight grew higher and roots stronger. As of today, we are one of the leading manufacturers of Formaldehyde and Paraformaldehyde in the world with a cumulative capacity of 3L MTPA and 20K MTPA respectively.
